Finnish word for an animal (eläin) means "alive" or "living one", or "one that lives". The word for a plant (kasvi) means "one that grows" or "one that has grown". The word for human (ihminen) has at its root meanings and connotations like "wondrous", "smiling", "miracle", "joy", "of the air", "strange", "odd", "weird", "visitor", and "one with pain". All three words have their similar variations widely distributed among Uralic people.
To summarize poetically, "humans are odd but wondrous spirit-visitors, who due to their joy are smiling through their pain, as they witness all that is alive and growing".

Milka, that is wonderful. In addition I am learning more and more language as I know a better understanding is with Suomalainen. As with Sisu, you must just understand the meaning, feeling without another word? Thank you
